I Remind that I am not organising any major protest, this blog makes more the suggestion than the proposal. For a major 'National' or 'Regional' Protest to be organised an Organising Committee needs to be organised and here, I have proposed that such be set up by Gwladgarwyr Eginiog as I consider this whole matter of Mynydd Y Betws and Issue of a Windmill Plantation there to be of particular concern to they. Not least because Mynydd Y Betws is in old Ystrad Tywi, now part of present day Sir Gar, it was their ancestors wrere the evicted Cymry of Gwyr - Northern Old Medieval Gower of 'Betws Mas O'r Byd' (see post of that name).
Otherwise, as well an Organising Committee is required as there will be need for massive Wales and World publicity campaign to be carried out plus a representative delegation will have to meet with Politicians and Councillors also representatives of the Irish Government and Utiliy Company responsible for the Windmill Plantation. Further, most importantly there will be need to coordinate with Anti - Windmill Activists and Turbine Road Protesters concerned with the Mynydd y Betws and Gwuan Cae Gurwen Campaigns to coordinate organisation of a blockade of Swansea Docks on Fabian Way as and when the Turbines are brought in by sea and then moved by road to Mynydd y Betws and later Mynydd Y Gwair.

Likewise the Scotch Pine on Mynydd Y Betws for same purpose also perhaps, if my original suggestion of starting the March into the Mountain beginning as suitable starting point in Betws makes the walk too far (less than Wales to Greenham Common by the way) for the June Protest march up to Penlle'r Gaer. Then another starting point could be from the Scotch Pine or viewing area just up the road as from 8th June to 10th June 2012, I also consider this as possibly a good idea to make the Patriotic gathering here at the Scotch Pine and Viewing Point for walk to Penlle'r Gaer as an annual Summer event over the coming years around about 1st June to keep up protests against the Windmilling of Mynydd y Betw and Mynydd Y Gwair. Certainly, the 'Struggle for Stryveland' in the years between 1282 - 1334 is a story of a signifigant Patriotic Struggle overshadowed by remembrance of 1282 and Nationalist Cilmeri Commemoration and then Hanes Glyndwr. Time we more remembered the continuing struggle for Cymru as in Stryveland also in 1315 - 16 Llywelyn Bren Revolt (anniversary of start of this revolt falls on 18 Ionawr), also the 1345 Revolts in Harlech, Rhuddlun and Biwmaris. Not least then the continued resistence of our Welsh Outlaw Rebels aka 'Adar Y Greim'. There are fantastic views from the Scotch Pine Beer Garden but note it is not always open, so check up on this via web or phoning the pub.
The Immediate Next Step You as an Individual can take is to start producing posters and stickers, getting plenty of Patriotic and Political Flags together also start making plenty of Banners and Placards. Such as Illustrated below may be made in advance and placed by side of road in safe position (Not to fall or be blown onto roadways) as from now, of course made to carry on the March into the Mountains in June, for Mynydd y Betws and other mountains.
Further, an idea! Make Wooden Yellow and Red wooden Crosses, dress with Ivy.
Such can be carried on Marches into the Mountains and left hanging on fences marking out Turbine Roads and Windmill Plantation land grabs. As well and indeed at the Mynydd y Betws protest of June such could be placed in way of Turbine Road progress and let them be taken down by the workers, this will be a symbolic action that declares as to how our Heritage in the Landscape is ignored and simply walked over by the Robber Barons - Windmill Master. Of course photograph, especially if possible fotos of the Crosses being taken down will make iconic symbolic photos to post up on the web, the thing is for massive impact the more crosses the better so get busy making.
I have made mine already (foto above), an extra large cross which in name of Ysbryd Cofiwn I will place with due ceremony atop Penlle'r Gaer remains as and when possible for me to do so over the three afore mentioned days of June in 'Stryveland' (Keeping in mind I am up in 'Fortress Glyndwr' on Mynydd Pumlumon for much of the first week of June - English Royal Jubilee Week).

Very much of my work, essentially an exercise in drawing attention to what is 'occurring' on Mynydd Y Betws, attempting to motivate and prompt Patriotic Action asap. Also a warning that to do nothing is for Patriots a betrayel of Country and Community and as far as Anti - Windmill Activists are concerned foolish to campaign with moderation, costing you time and money often with Politicians and Councillors also Representatives of Renewable Robber Barons. Most speak with 'Forked Tounges' not least the four contenders for Plaid Cymru Leadership who with their Party are arch Traitor Collaborators with the Corporate Colonising Land Grabbers. All Groups campaigning against Turbine Transport and Plantations must make sure they get the message across that they are fit for a fight and not just a lot of loud talking hot air. You must as I have indicated throughout this blog, clearly show and send out the message that you are prepared to go all the way, not just up to the wire and then fall back but are ready to be at the barricades when the time comes. Thus this blog and the whole March into the Mountain Initiative, even though an attempt at awakening Welsh Nationalism to see they advance to the Patriotic Front as this must become a major National Issue.

I am not out to see a National Movement set up to organise continued National Campaigning as I see the 'Autonomous' local/Regional Campaigns as best way forward but there is a desperate need for a National Intelligence and Information Group made up of representaives or/and those with the intellectual and information capacity to dig out intelligence of all Turbine Terrorist activity and to pass it on and where needed suggest a National Effort of support for major protests and anti Turbine Transport activity, not least at docks. I am sure that certain people with experience of Greenham Common and Faslane blockades will know what I mean:

Welsh Republicanism today comprises of what may be called your Plaid Cymru 'Guardian Green Republicanism' of Leanne and Bethan Jenkins et al organising around the 'British Republicans' and a moderate Welsh Republicanism which I suspect has something to do with Bethan Jenkins and her Cymru X Crew, this is why it's all kind of 'Poems and Pints' and thus does very little as for instance oppose the English Royal Jubilee etc. Then there are the 'Nationalist Republicans' as represented by a diverse number of Groups/Face Books as Cymru Rhydd and Balchder Cymru (all actually Patriotic Fringe Super Patriot Debris) with 'My Little Republic' attempting to be centre platform of via his to be annual Republican Affair in Bae Caerdydd, though he did not actually attend the one he organised last year has he had gone to Lithuania, wonder where he will be this year? Not on Mynydd y Betws or Mynydd Y Gwair where he and all other 'Welsh Republicans' should be. Let me tell them this much, if they want to be treated seriously then apart form parading about and pub gatherings they really should engage in Welsh Republican Action. As WRM I during Coronation year 1953, they organised a National Poster campaigns and the public burnings of Union Jacks, they also organised campaigns against British Army and Forestry Commission taking Welsh Land. What concerns our Republican Rubbish, wait for it something that really is of most least Nationalist Concern 'Team G.B.' increasingly a Non - Issue only another distraction similar to Adam Phillips fleeing to the Tents of Camp Cosy Corris.
Truelly Rubbish Welsh Republicanism but hopefully serious and I do mean also Politically Intelligent Welsh Republicanism will not only activelly support the March into the Mountains during Jubilee Week but perhaps with Leanne, Bethan. Jill and Hywel Williams focus their active attention on the Crown Estate Windmill Plantations in Wales, yes? At same time then they can establish Welsh Republican Beacons as alternative to the Jubilee Beacons by burning of Union Jacks and prior collected Jubilee Literature. To conclude my crticism of so called 'Welsh Republicanism', upon my exile in Ireland it was at a time of Heritage Campaign to preserve Georgian Houses from Developers while at the same time what was to become Sinn Fein the Workers Party were organising a Land and Liberty Campaign against Cheque Book Conquest why cannot Welsh Nationalist Republicans be of same mind and action. What too dim? or does it just sound like too much hard work whilst camping out in Corris or an evening of Hit Air along with Poems and Pints is really rosy and cosy too! A word about the map and marked out locations, pathways are marked A & B also 1 to 7. I have walked in part A & B also 1,2,3 and 6 but not 4, 5 & 7. All these Pathways will have a Post each for further Info and Photos as guides. I suggest that Pathways 1 & 2 will take you close to start of the Turbine Road and without having to walk far and over pretty good ground, pathway 2 is in fact a lane. Pathways 4,5 & 7 look to be best access to the site of the Windmill Plantation. Do note Pathway 7 and A will take you into site of the Windmill Plantation whilst both Pathway 7 and 6, if you break off will lead towards the Mynydd y Betws Trig Point which I immagine will be the best viewing point of the whole Windmill Plantation as would be the view from Foel. Note where the Turbine Road/Windmill Plantation crosses the road, this should be main area of Patriotic Protests between 8 - 10 June. Please note these pathways are not suitable for young children.

Dress to the Weather, wear good walking shoes and long thick socks, pathways are often muddy and sometimes made worse by horses, often it will get very boggy and you will come accross small source brooks and pools. It's stumpy heathland, so easy to lose footing and twist and turn ankles so take a walking stick and keep your wits about you as to wear your feet are treading, no day dreaming! Take Binoculers also Compass and also a flask of Soup and Sandwhiches and Kendell Cake, not least time your outing so that your not caught out by nightfall. Hope. I have not scared you off, just be prepared for all eventualities I have learnt the hard way that Pathway signs are far and Few, Sheep Trails can mislead and Pathways become over grown in summer by grass and ferns and otherwise chomped up by Quad Biking farmers rounding up flock, cattle and horses.

I am sure like I, once on these Mountains you will wonder why on Earth are fools setting out to destory a natural Heritage in the Landscape, an example of a precious Welsh Rural Environment sacrificed to GREEN CAPITALIST GREED! ....but the words are universally right on!, Change the names of the towns and locations mentioned and it's possibly better and well suited to this Land Cymru - Our Land of Wales. Maybe someone could write us our own March into the Mountain Song and a Poem for 'Stryveland', a competition maybe? if an organising committee does get set up, not a Fantasy Face Book run by 'Idjeets' or even WECTU? A proper elected committee they could hold a fund raising event in the Coopers Arms, Betws at which those present could decide on a winning song and poem.
