Inspired by the March on Blair Mountain, see in post below I thought a March up to Mynydd y Betws would be a good idea not least for publicity on and after the event as well as pre - event promotion. However, this is not on unless a 'March Organising Group' is set up within a proposed over all event organising body which I propose is a body established in the medieval area of Eginiog. Such must be not a facebook fantasy but a 'bona fide' democratically elected body with constitution and committee to organise the whole 'Occupy The Mountain' that is Mynydd y Betws - 'Stryveland' over long weekend of 8 - 10 June 2012.

NB:

I have already pointed out that I am only prepared to go much further pro - activelly with this venture and also the suggested National March Into The Mountain Week Initiative of the First Week of June 2012 only if supported. I have stressed, if I see no back up support coming forward in advance not least with protest action on Mynydd y Betws over Easter and in Cardiff regards the suggested 'Beltain Bash' Protest Picket at the RenewablesUKcymru Conference in Cardiff on 2 May 2012, then Fin!. I have already had to cancel my trip back to Belleville for the annual 1871 Paris Commune Commemoration, spent the money for that on this Cymru'n Codi 2012 Campaign. My own money by the way, I do not get grants nor do I appeal for donations, be quite content to see other patriots digging deep into their pockets to fund their own posters to stick up on Mynydd y Betws and oither Windfarm threatened Mountains and organisation of their own campaign protest actions. Whatever, keep above in mind I will after a certain point, that will be 3 May pull out of further promotion of these initiatives and organise nothing other than an Ysbryd Cofiwn Remembrance Cross Ceremony on Mynydd y Betws, that will be my only most affirmative commitment all else are suggestions but which Initiative Committees will have to further develope and advance, full stop! That includes the proposed Rally and March on the Mynydd y Betws Windfarm Fences of 9th June and 'Betws Barricade' of 10th June and before this the suggested symbolic March from Betws Park to Mynydd y Betws on 8th June or morning of 9th June?

A march to Mynydd y Betws is hardly same as a March to Greenham Common from Wales nor as a March to Blair Mountain but of course it is up hill? I got to be honest I will not be attempting it after a number of walks across Mynydd y Betws and Mynydd Pumlumon last year and again during first week of June this year. I will hardly be in fit state to take aboard a March up hill to Mynydd y Betws, be such organised or not any Patriot who wishes to do so with flags held high, then go ahead show the rest there is Cymric Conviction, Commitment and Courage that can tackle this pretty tough trek! All that aside I am looking for a Volnteer/Volunteers as a group to symbolically carry the Ysbryd Cofiwn Remembrance Cross from Betws Church up into the Mountain on the 8th or 9th June. anyone up for that do contact me.

Why from Betws Church, because of this real and symbolic connection:
