* A slight change of heart by Ioan, bearing no grudges and seeking unity and solidarity, I forgive and forget the anquish and stress is first latter gave me.
This is a wonderful gesture by Gethin and I may go along for a bit of fresh air and to meet like minded people, but this fight at Mynydd Betws above Ammanford town in Carmarthenshire has long been lost. We will never stop this already started development, but well done Gethin and I hope a big crowd turns out it may inspire other battles elsewhere.

However Ioan, rather than a stroll for fresh air, why not speak at the Rally on the 9th and with the well known media campaingers as Lyn Jenkins, David Haskell and Dr John Etherington et al, why not organise a public meeting in the Scots Pine Pub for evening of the 9th June to educate us Activist Anti - Windmill Campaigners now that would be a fantastic contribution more so than hanging around on the fringes making bullets for we to fire!

Breaking news re the Transport of Turbines to Mynydd y Betws, interesting hope this is not lost on Patriots but Chepstow was of course the Bridge Head of Norman Invasion of Southern Wales and the route the Turbines shall be taking is much the same. So Patriots throughout the South prepare to resist every inch of the way West to Mynydd y Betws these new 'Conquistadores' as your ancestors did in Medieval times and as the Silurian Celts did in time of the Roman Conquest of the South Lands. First off, no hanging about protest posters up around MABEY BRIDGE PLANT, set up near location of King Harolds Hunting Lodge which the Welsh Burnt down, no MG type hint as Poster campaigns and Picket protest Blockades will suffice ok. First off, now be on the ball there will be organised a Turbine Transport Practise Run between MABEY PLANT to Mynydd y Betws Windmill Plantation. All Southern Patriots get prepared to follow this practise run with Protests all the way and get posters and banners up enroute plus organise a major demonstration to greet arrival of the practise run (also soon the Cement Waggons for Turbine Foundations) at the entrence to the Mountain Turbine Road just South of Gwuan Cae Gurwen.

I would advise local 'Communities Together Campaign' not to leave matters to the last minute but get posters up along side the road from Pontardawe on, not least a major Anti - Windfarm/Turbine Transport Rally and March needs to be organised for Pontardawe asap either by CTC or by local Patriots - Possibly organise for Monday 2 April - Early Spring Bank Holiday.
One last point a question to MAP, CMS and other anti - Windmill Farm campaigns, are you going to support this campaign and the First Week in June March Into The Mountains and related events and activities as we would support you? If 'leading lights' of such groups are reluctant, I appeal directly over their heads to their local and other supporters to petition them to back us up as much as they are backing the British/English Movement/Campaign. Same re the Westminster Protest will CMS and MAP etc support our 'Beltain Bash' in Cardiff? Big Questions that need to be answered asap, yes?

- I may be wrong here but the area is known as “Strife Land” to my understanding for a historic fight between the Normans and a treacherous Welsh Lord. Let’s go back to the war between our King Llewelyn (yes he was our King – not a mere Prince) and the Norman King of England in the late thirteenth century King Edward. The Normans had landed in 1066 and walked all over the Saxons of England (and Danes in north England) in a matter of weeks. It then took the Normans 216 years to conquer the Cymru – the Welsh in 1282. In the fighting leading up to 1282 our King Llewelyn was aided by his powerful Norman father in law. The Norman King Edward was aided by three traitorous Welsh Lords – one was Rhys Ap Maredudd of Dinefwr (Llandeilo). After 1282 the traitor Lord Rhys who was on the winning side was allowed to keep his spoils for being a Welsh traitor. However, by 1287 he got greedy and tried to annexe the Mynydd Betws area off the Norman Lord of Gower (Swansea) William de Breos. Lord Breos quickly fortified the boundary by constructing his “Castra Nova – Newcastle” in 1287 at Penlle’rcastell on what is now the highest point of Swansea at Penlle’rcastell on the top of Mynydd y Gwair. Worth a visit. The County Boundary is still at the base of the hill there. A battle took place between Breos and Rhys on the plateaux where the Wind Turbines are now being built – it was named the “Strife Land” and Rhys lost and was some time later captured and executed. Rhys was a traitor to Llewelyn and then a traitor to Breos – so he is not much of a hero in my book as a double traitor. I AGREE ABOUT HE BEING A DESPICABLE NATIVE TRAITOR TO LLYWELYN AS WAS THE BISHOP OF BANGOR AND A NUMBER OF PETTY LORDS AND CHIEFS OF GWYNEDD TOO.The above contradicts what historian J.Beverly Smith has to say, check out in Morgnnwg Vol 9 1965, he refers to a Rhys Fynchan 1246 - 71 as being in conflict with William de Braos over Mynydd Y Betws. Note both this Rhys Fychan and Rhys ap Maredudd however wre dead by the concluding years of the 12th Century.
