MYB/WMP DAY 3 P2: TURBINES PASSING THROUGH PONTARDAWE TO WMP SITE ENTRANCE UP ONTO THE MOUNTAIN - No 'Nimby' or 'Nashy' Protests - WHY NOT?

Explanation and Information first:

The Turbine Transport from Swansea Docks takes to the Motor way to Pontardawe, then for a short distance enters on to the A4067 into Pontardawe, then in Pontardawe turns on to the A474 to MYB/WMP Site Entrance south of Gwuan Cae Gurwen. I am still some what baffled by this mention of Junction 42 and not clear where it goes to from there before it gets on the dual carraige way to Pontardawe. One thing for sure is that the TT Convoy moves pretty fast. We were behind it after taking photos of it leaving Swansea Docks, thought we were taking a shorter way to get in front but did not and were held back by police blocking road near Pontardawe whilst they removed temporary roundabouts. At this point I had to get out of car and run down the road to keep up with the TTC moving into Pontardawe as you will see from fotos below. However, we were then stuck behind the TTC with no chance of getting ahead to take fotos of it all turning into the Site Entrance. So thinking fast and a quick decision we took to the Mountain road via Rhyd y Fro (would you believe it got stuck behind a tractor, the driver of which would not move into at least six passing places to let three cars go ahead, the sad miserable git!), However, managed to reach our turn off point to get to position on mountain from which we were at good vantage point to take fotos of the TTC coming up the WMP Maintenance Road via the Nant y Melyn Farm (This farmer like those on Mynydd y Betws have taken the Judas Silver from the Windmasters to enrich themselves, yes TRAITORS!) Gully and up onto the Mountains that is Banc Bryn and Banc Cwmhelen which can be reached via Glanaman and more directly via Gwuan Cae Gurwen and Nant Ricket on footpaths onto this mountain. Please note if you can get on to this mountain it is possible to get close to the WMP maintanance road fence upon which protest placards could be attached for quite a distance, any one up for that, get cracking making poster, then be up on the mountain early on Monday to put placards in place before delicveries start Monday at 9am and 12 noon. Be alright if you at least greet TTC at 12 noon. (See fotos below, taken from other side of Gully towards Bank Bryn). Again looking at map, see Bryn Mawr that is a good position to be atop of on Monday Morning to 12 Noon with loads of Patriotic Flags also from this position you will get great view of entire MYB Windmill Plantation and see any protesters over on Banc Bryn.Very good for fotos too, take loads for protest use and archive.

YES! I SAID ACTION - The ADFYWIAD WAY!

What's This, was waiting to meet up with the TTC in Pontardawe.

Temporary Roundabout taken up and TTC heading into Pontardawe, note a number of protest positions.

TTC Turning on to A474.

The small crowd are locals in state of shock and Awe. not protesting?

Turning by John Francis Estate Agents.

This is where we headed for, after realizing we would not get ahead of the TTC, see map (this looking down to the sharp bend that will take you down to the A474) re how to get here and note at this point you can park and then....

... Proceed along this lane to a point where you look down on the A474 and MYB/WMP site entrance, further on down and you will see where TTC comes up and continues to Banc Bryn. At this point you cannot get closer to protest, so note that being over on Banc Bryn down by the Maintenance Road is the best location for protesting on the mountain and to then follow up the TTC to where it will park and store the blades and towers ready to be put up in due course. This week that is Turbine Arthur Tudor ready to go up, 14 More Turbines to go dedicated to the 15 English Princes of Wales since those Richmond's took to the English Throne.

View down to the A474 and site entrance.

Turbines arrive on Site and all the way not a 'Nimby' or 'Nashy' up for any Protest, yes PATHETIC!

TTC Heading for Banc Bryn, notice the fence I mention above as best position to protest at.

Be great to see this Banc Bryn covered with Protesters with Flags and Banners and placing Placards and Posters, any other country but Wales?

Atop this hill be a good place for big Protest, any where else but Wales?

No it's not a flying Saucer, it's a Turbine Blade Photographed from a distance over from Mynydd y Betws, better fotos on the way from our Gwerin Owain - Glyndwr Rambler who has been camping and active all week around the Windmill Plantation - We went up to resupply with food and Camera Batteries late last night - a police patrol passed us twice - keeping an eye on us. They sure are worried and seem convinced we will attempt direct action as 'Civil Disobedience' or sabotage but of course we may do the former but creatively but not employ methods of Militant Sabotage, fin!

This first week of Welsh Resistance Against the Renewables Robber Barons as been derisable to say the least, if it was not for the stand made by four 'Grey Hairs' representing Embassy Glyndwr, Partisan Cymru and Balchder Cymru Tuesday Morning we would have nothing worth while to say or as they say 'Write Home about'. So, now time for all Patriots and Partisans to decide where they stand, forget the 'Nimbies' they are in it not for the same reasons as we. That is to stop our Country becoming also CORPORATE COLONY CYMRU which is the road Plaid 'Green Wash' Cymru is taking us, toward Leanne's Rainbow Republican 'Green Banana Republic'. It is time for the true Welsh Resistance to become for real Freedom Fighters against the 'New Conquistadors' and your first step in that direction is to become a 'STRYVELANDER' and very fast too?
